Our Warranty Promise

At Rychlund Homes we realize that building the home is only part of a successful, new home-buying experience. Serving our buyers’ warranty needs after they occupy their new home is also critical. In fact, complete customer satisfaction is often dependant upon the manner in which a builder administers its warranty program in the weeks and months after the owners have moved in. To that end, first and foremost we do all we can to prevent warranty issues from arising in the first place. But if they do, we are committed to resolving those issues as quickly and conveniently as possible.

2/10 Year Warranty

The Rychlund Homes, StrucSure Home Warranty covers major structural failure of the load-bearing portions of new homes for 10 years from the day of closing. The guidelines for coverage have been established by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and include defects such as framing members, roof trusses, floor joists and the foundation system. Limitations are set forth in the warranty booklet which is issued at closing. Our 2-10 warranty also backs home buyers on workmanship and materials for the first year and delivery systems (i.e. ductwork and pipes) through the second year.
